Volunteer Commitment Contract:
6 hours a week
6 months minimum

About RLC and Participants

Roshan Learning Center opened its doors to students in January 2015. We started with 33 students; we now serve 120 refugees. We teach asylum seekers and refugees from age 3 years to adults who are eager to learn, belong in a caring community and work toward a bright future.

We have only 7 paid staff and rely on a host of dedicated, talented volunteers. If you could be one of our future volunteers, we would love to get to know you. Please note that for volunteer teaching positions, we generally require 6 hours a week over a minimum of 6 months (standard holidays apply)–because trust and relationship building are especially important in refugee communities.

Some positions are located on-site in Jakarta, and others are site flexible and would allow you to contribute from home, whether in Jakarta or around the world. We deeply appreciate your interest in us. We couldn’t operate without you!
